Local work with a prevention-first purpose
BCHS works to reduce pet overpopulation by helping people reach spay and neuter services and by sharing practical education. This focused role complements, but is separate from, the Beaufort County Animal Shelter.
When fewer preventable litters are born, families, community-cat caregivers, animal-welfare organizations, and the wider community all benefit.
